Tourism is an industry. It is a way for an area to make money. The Turkey government or the locals need to implement measures to protect the historical sites. We have tourism in my city as we are near a lake. During the week of Independence Day here the streets are crowded and the police are on extra duty plus the reserve police are called in to help also. We have many histroical sites here in the United Sttes and some have had to be made off limits to protect them. Tourism is good in some ways and bad in others.
