1598-1613. – the period of Russian history called the time of Troubles.
At the turn of 16-17 centuries, Russia has experienced political, economic and social crisis. The Livonian war and the Tatar invasion and the oprichnina of Ivan the terrible contributed to the intensification of the crisis and growing discontent. This was the reason for the start of the time of troubles in Russia
