Every country has got its traditions and customs, including tastes in food.
Let's see at the Russian food. Russian national cuisine has formed many centuries. Russia is a multinational country. It is home to over 100 nationalities and each has its own kitchen, with local food and traditions. Therefore, it is difficult to draw a clear boundary of Russian cuisine. However, there are a certain set of dishes that can be called a native Russian and who just need to try each of foreigners coming to Russia.
The traditional Russian lunch usually consists of three courses. The first - it may be a soup of meat and vegetables, sometimes with the addition of different cereals, soup, halophyte, ear, all sorts of stew and borscht. The second - the meat or fish with vegetables (potatoes, pasta, stewed cabbage and, of course, porridge). Third - compote, jelly, kvass or juice. Russian people like pancakes, too.
I can talk a lot about it but it will take a lot of time!
