After that she spent some nights in a hostel for the homeless and and sometimes in abandoned houses.
She used to share a single room with fifteen people, and the room were </span><span>usually filthy with no running water or electricity.
But </span><span>at least she had a roof over her head in times when there were sub-zero temperatures outdoors.
The government gave her money, but that was just enough to eat.
Jasmine sold "The Big Issue"</span><span><span> magazines </span>... that was all she could really do.
Homelessness is a vicious circle that is very difficult to break out of.
It's very hard to get work, because no one takes you seriously.
She would like to get a place which she could call her home.
In our time, you can see a lot of homeless people</span><span><span> in the streets</span>.
These people are very unhappy. They have neither home nor family, they have no nice
warm clothes or enough food. I think that these people need help.
All people need a comfortable home, warm clothes and enough food.</span>
